Boxes & Paper

This little oval decoupage box boasts "TEACHES HOW TO MAKE MONEY WITH A FEW HENS." Just between us, I've had hens for years and they've yet to make me any money... A fun collectible for a poultry enthusiast. Sized just right for a dresser or nightstand. I use mine to hold earrings.

Each piece handcut from vintage newspaper and applied to box which has been painted matte black. Six coats of decoupage medium is applied, along with an antiquing gel to age the piece further. Edges are trimmed in black grosgrain ribbon.

This box measures 3 3/4" x 2 3/4"

I Only Have Two Hands (but I have 20-something vintage fans).

Vintage advertising samples (you know, "Your Name Here" kind of a deal). These belonged to my great grandfather, who was a salesman. There are no dates on any of them, but I'm guessing they're circa 1930-40ish. They're in great condition and I really, really want them to go to a good home because I simply cannot use this many. If you're interested in one or the whole lot, email me and make me an offer.

I have multiples of all but the top two - Jesus and the mountains.

These fold - the two side pieces fold under the center section - hard to see in photos. They're made of a nice sturdy cardboard and are still fully functional. Sure would come in handy for front porch sittin' on a warm night...
